A Christian boy is kidnapped by Arabs in a brutal assault on his villlage. As he is dragged away, he hears his mother call to him before she is shot "Just as a zebra cannot change its stripes, so you cannot change who you are." Rashid is first beaten and the "rescued by a Muslim family and raised as their own son. The movie centres around this young Christian's journey back to God and his quest to take the message of salvation to his village.
