For more than twenty-five years, Anne Graham Lotz has actively soght God's purpose for her life and then tried to achieve it. Simply stated, the purpose is to constantly grow in her personal knowledge of God as she follows Him in a life of faith. She has come to know Him as a friend and fomforter, as "the God of the second chance, the fat chance, the slim chance, the no chance".

Now, she longs for more of Him. more than just enough to escape hell, call herself a Christian or squeak through heaven's gates. She seeks to know everything God wants her to know and to recieve everything He wants to give her, emptying the vault of heaven to bestow on her all the blessings He holds for her.
